Otero County Fair and Rodeo is a non-profit organization based in Alamogordo, NM. The Otero County Fair is the largest attended event in Otero County annually. With a facility that is 21 acres in size, there are a myriad of things you can do within our fair. Our fair is proudly free of gate charge! Rides, food, etc.. may be an additional charge. Come be part of the excitement at the 77th Annual Otero County Rodeo! We’re honoring 77 years of rodeo heritage with Whitley Buckers providing top-notch stock, Women’s Ranch Bronc Riding Championship will demonstrate elite ranch bronc riding skills and the one-and-only Kyle Tom bringing every moment to life from the announcer’s stand. Explore our array of cool home art projects as well as the different kinds of canned and dried foods we have in store for you at our fair. From roses to succulent plants, our Flower Show is back with even more exotic and wonderful floriculture displays. We have the perfect place to display Otero County’s top agricultural commodities! From apples to zucchini, you will find a wide variety of locally grown crops on display. Discover a world of talent under a colorful canopy of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and more! Check out the Fine Arts and Photography display, where you will find one of the largest collections of local artwork in Otero County. Hundreds of artists and photographers display their work here. What is a better way to spend your time than handspinning? This handicraft is the perfect way for you to take a break and enjoy the calmness that comes with it. Otero County Fairgrounds |
