– Region 12 has completed the SIM workshop and is now entering the BHRIA-required Regional Planning Phase, during which behavioral health stakeholders must collaboratively develop a regional plan that addresses service gaps, outlines implementation timelines and performance measures, and strengthens coordination across the region. The final plan must be approved by Otero County, Lincoln County, and the Mescalero Apache Tribe, then submitted to the state Behavioral Health Executive Committee for review, funding strategy development, oversight, and project management, while also supporting workforce pipeline planning with regional higher education partners. Hosted by 100% Otero, this community event offers an opportunity to connect with local organizations and learn about resources available to you and your family. Enjoy a light breakfast, pick up pet food, and visit with community partners offering information and support. Pumpkins will also be available for families to take home and decorate while supplies last. Bring your family and enjoy a morning of connection and fall fun. Costumes are welcome. The event will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to invite a friend or neighbor. This is a FREE event!
