COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH REPORT

Otero County Behavioral Health Systems of Care Consortium have assembled their Community Behavioral Health Report for 2023–2024. The purpose of this Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats (SWOT) Analysis Focus Group was to gather preliminary, broad information from participants regarding the state of behavioral health in Otero County, New Mexico.

2024 OTERO COUNTY GENERAL RESULTS

This document contains general results from the 100% Community Survey of Otero County, NM, conducted between January and August 2024. The surveys were available in Spanish and English, online and on paper. The county organizers promoted the survey through personal contacts, community events, and locations providing services, such as medical and behavioral health centers and food distribution sites.

Chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests were used to test for differences in questions primarily about need and accessibility.
