September 16, 2025Play is a child’s language, it is also how children receive and process information. In this workshop, we will explore ways to build communication through fun activities and learn more about being playful as parents and teachers. From babies taking their first steps to older kids learning how to be a good friend, play is more than an activity, it is a great way to connect and communicate in engaging ways.
Not only can you use play to help your child reach developmental milestones, research shows that adults who play feel more content and relaxed. During our time together we will explore how you can use play as a tool for creating connections, exploring challenging behavior, and helping children find solutions.
*If more than one adult in your family would like to participate, complete a separate registration form for each adult.Facilitator: Mireya Schumaker
