There is a shortage of affordable rental homes available to extremely low income households. Many of these households are severely cost burdened, spending more than half of their income on housing, and a whopping 33% of income on food. With high rates of food insecurity, too many adults and children suffer from nutrition-related chronic conditions, including obesity and diabetes. The mission of Shared Table is to provide healthy food & genuine compassion to neighbors in need. The primary vision is that everyone in Taos County has enough to eat, and has access to nutritious food.
