As always, the Health Fair is free and open to the public. We host around 40 vendors (as many as our building can hold) for this popular event: if you haven’t joined us for past Health Fairs, you’re really missing an opportunity! 11 SAVE THE DATE: Sacramento Mountains Foundation "Holding It Together" Otero County Nonprofit Summit September 11, 2026 The Sacramento Mountains Foundation’s third annual Nonprofit Summit returns for a full day built around a single, urgent question: how do the people who hold our nonprofits together sustain their energy over the long haul? This year’s single-track program moves from keynote to hands-on workshops to working panels, and closes with an awards ceremony recognizing the county’s Nonprofit of the Year and Nonprofit Professional of the Year. 17 1:30 pm: BHRIA - Stakeholder Regional Plan Meeting 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm September 17, 2026 Region 12 has completed the SIM workshop and is now entering the BHRIA-required Regional Planning Phase, during which behavioral health stakeholders must collaboratively develop a regional plan that addresses service gaps, outlines implementation timelines and performance measures, and strengthens coordination across the region. The final plan must be approved by Otero County, Lincoln County, and the Mescalero Apache Tribe, then submitted to the state Behavioral Health Executive Committee for review, funding strategy development, oversight, and project management, while also supporting workforce pipeline planning with regional higher education partners.
